How to find out what is and isn't legal to import in Australia

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any official goverment websites as to what is an isn't legal to be imported.

What I did was email Customs ([email protected])
In my case I was after guidelines for importing Prozac, so they sent it to the Therapeutic Goods Administration who in turn answered my question by email but gave me a phone number to ring next time. (02) 6232.8129
The phone number is only for the import requirements of medicines and the like though.
Hope this helps somewhat.

This includes data on what is petty, what is intent to sell, what is trafficking etc...all amounts quantified and qualified...

Email the theraputic and experimental drugs section.. their email is availalble on the websites above. One guy seems to answer all the email's pretty promptly. All the info regarding importation of 5HTP seems to come from him

GG: actually chinchillas are usually trousered. The ones on the Sydney scene at the moment are wikkid mayte! I tested one of mine- black in less than 3 secs. Gave me a 6 hour peak, no comedown, BEST CHINCHILLA EVER!!!

Mikey - most of that stuff has been posted in "have you ever been busted by cops?" thread, although it is state specific, most of the same principles apply.
It takes quite a bit of knowledge to fuck with the legal loopholes of importation.
