How to diminish modafinil's half-life?

You might have a suspension, but you don't have a solution. Everything says Modafinil is practically insoluble in water.

For real about the dosage... I am prescribed 100mg a day and I usually take 50mg because sometimes 100mg all at once gets me a bit jittery. Taking 200mg at once is always unpleasant. And once I took 400mg and spent the day absolutely miserable with strange anxiety and jitters.

600mg? Wow... 8o

Although to be fair I take piracetam and centrophenoxine in the mornings as well.

I found tolerance builds super quick at daily high dosages, even 1000mg+ in the morning didnt effect night sleep!

re chewing......daffies taste like utter arse and makes me hurls just imagining it!

600mg? A gram?!?! Goddamn.

I take half a 200mg pill and find that to be plenty. Then again I take it at most twice a week.

My understanding is that unlike amphetamine, most modafinil is metabolised before being excreted via the urinary tract. So lowering urinary pH by large doses of Vitamin C is probably less likely to be effective (but I haven't tried). I would suggest reducing the dose.

I take 150mg Nuvigil's each day, or the equivalent of 300mg of Provigil. I can't imagine taking 500mg! That's nuts.

I work odd hours (as evidenced by the fact that I'm posting at 3:40am, just home from work), and some days I get home at midnight. Other days I get home at 3:30 or 4am. On late nights I would have trouble driving home. There were more than a few occasions that I fell asleep while driving. It's an incredibly unpleasant feeling. I don't mean I was completely out and went off the road; my eyes would fall shut and my head would bob and I'd come to again. I had to stop and do jumping jacks a few times. That never works, I'd be back to nodding off again within 10 minutes. Taking a 15 minute nap works best.

Anyway, I've never noticed Nuvigil causing sleeplessness. I've taken up to 250mg (that'd be 500mg Provigil) and even then no problem.

My biggest problem has been switching back to "normal" hours on weekends. I'll sleep until 12 or 1 on Saturday, or 3 if my wife doesn't wake me up (that sucks, though, because it's already getting dark by 5 now)! On Sunday, though, I need to get up by 9:30 or 10, so at 7am when my kids get up and wake me up, I'll take the pill and go back to sleep. It kicks in within 1:30 hours, sure, but if no one were to wake me, I could probably continue sleeping till noon or whenever.

It does make for odd sleep though. You feel kind of dizzy when you come around. It's kind of a good feeling, too, though. It'd odd. Not like falling asleep with amphetamine in your system, the buzzing euphoric feeling in your body. I used to like lying down and drifting off on amphetamine when I was prescribed it, actually.

I would like to see how Nuvigil helps with Blackjack, but I haven't had a chance to get out and play yet. I used to be pretty good counting cards, but I'd get tired after a while. I would buy Adderall to take when I was playing to increase my focus and skill, and it definitely helped, but I didn't have a script, so it was obviously illegal.

Modafinil and Armodafinil definitely don't provide that super focus though. I do find myself getting locked on an activity every once and a while, though. Typing right now is one. I keep glancing at the clock and saying oh one more minute.

And I took it 14 hours ago.
