How to crystalize MDMA oil?

My friend, who is no chemist but has some experience,
has had no luck using the Bright Star method for crystalizing MDMA oil.
He tried with PH of 6 and PH of 2, but no crystals, only oil…
Even gassing didn’t work.
Are there different types of MDMA oil?
Anybody can help?
