How smelly are water pipes?

First off hello. This is my first post on Bluelight. I've been smoking weed for a while now (2 years) but ive only ever owned a spoon pipe. I'm thinking about getting a bubbler but my brother keeps telling me "NO! theyre so rank mom and dad will find it" So my question is, will a small bubbler (not bong) smell alot or more than i pipe? thanks.

Just keep it clean and don't leave the bong water in it. It takes less than a minute to clean it.

They're the same as any other kind of pipe....they can be nasty as all get out unless you care for them correctly. Spilling used bong water can really create a stinky mess. I remember in high school that a few clowns would drink it, which was beyond disgusting!

I have 4 pieces in my closet, and the scent is hardly noticeable. Keep your shit clean, and in a bag of sorts and your parents wont notice a thing.

Keep it clean with rubbing alcohol and salt and dump out the dirty water and it won't smell.

Also if you keep it in some sort of box or compartment or anything it will help to mask the smell

Like everyone already said, keep it nice and clean and it won't smell as bad, or just keep it in a case/box.
