Hey guys,
Ive got in my possession 900mg lyrica and i dont no maybe 2000mg tramadol. im going to try it tonight but i was wondering how much of each i should take to be safe? im thinking maybe just do 900 mg lyrica and no opiates.. thanks
My experience is that these two drugs don't work well together, Lyrica seems to cancel out the opiate high of Tramadol. They are best taken separately.
I don't know if you have any experience of these drugs, but I have used them extensively over the last 2 years, so here is my experience...
Tramadol
Tramadol works much quicker and the opiate high is more pronounced, if you dissolve the tablet or capsule contents in a glass of water. Tramadol dissolves readily in water. You might notice some residue at the bottom of the glass, that's just the filler you can leave it, or drink it, doesn't matter. It can be taken with or without food, doesn't seem to make much difference.
If you have never had Tramadol before and have no opiate tolerance, I recommend you start with a low dose of Tramadol (50mg) the first time and build up in 50mg increments. It's a potent opiate drug and also has other effects on serotonin and adrenalin. For a first timer, 50mg should provide a really nice experience and the effects will last 10-12 hours. You can re-dose every 6 hours if you need to.
Cautions: Be careful of mixing Tramadol with alcohol and SSRI or MAOI anti-depressants (including St John's Wort and 5-HTP), it can depress breathing and lead to serotonin syndrome. Doses above 200mg can be quite unpleasant and unpredictable in some people, so don't be tempted to jump in with a high dose. The seizure threshold of Tramadol is 400mg or even lower in some people.
Lyrica
The effect of Lyrica is very similar to GHB and alcohol. A low dose of 75mg acts as a social lubricant and takes away anxiety. You will feel slightly intoxicated probably like having a beer or two.
At high doses (up to 600mg) you will feel giggly, totally fucked up and hardly able to walk straight. You might experience some nausea and dizziness. You will probably look quite intoxicated and attract attention to yourself so I wouldn't recommend doing a high dose outside, and definitely not if you're driving.
As with all drugs, in my experience its better to start with a low test dose and then test higher doses gradually.. Lyrica often has a long onset period (especially if taken with food or shortly after a meal) which can be up to 3-4 hours. The effects can come on quite suddenly when you think it's not working, so allow time before re-dosing. It's best taken on an empty stomach with just water, an hour before eating. The effects should start then within 1-2 hours and will last the rest of the afternoon and evening. Lyrica and alcohol go ok together but they potentiate each other, so you will get drunk more quickly.
