Hi folks, I'd like to ask one question concerning a drug that many have praised but which I have until now found disappointing: Pregabaline/Lyrica.
I suffer under very debilitating anxiety, so I thought this medication could be a welcome alternative to benzodiazepines. During the first weeks, I felt a moderate sedation after taking 600 mg (the greatest recommanded dose) which quickly disappeared, and now, I feel neither sedation nor anxiolysis.
My question to you guys would be: are there other ways of administrations which are much more efficient and lead to sedation and anxiolysis ?
I have heard of "parachuting" : what is that ?
Do you know some web-links with all methods one can employ with pregabaline ?
I must say I'm not a recreational user: I suffer terribly under my anxiety and my sleep disorder and I just want to get rid of them. I'm not at all interested in psychodelic states of minds, and that's why I have not resorted to the usual "SWIM" stuff because I take completely responsability for myself.
Many thanks for your answers !
