how much water do you use in your bong?

just enough so it covers the downstem

the more you put in the less you can fill with smoke

and yeah, ice catchers are more important to me than percs or diffusers

as far as the ice I use....uhh the kind made from water?

Nice, i have same/similiar vaporizer, nice bong and shisha ? smoking pipe?

i use about inch and half at the most myself, i dont like to use much water, as i dont want to lose much goodies considering how expensive cannabis is where i am

It depends on the size of the chamber in the bong. If the chamber has a large volume I like to use more water to get a stronger 'chug' effect that makes it easier to clear the smoke. If the chamber is fairly small, less water is typically used to compensate for the little volume and avoid splash-back.

Just enough water so it covers the filtration device you have inside your bong (either a downstem or any kind of filtration (arms, stemline, etc)) and you don't get water in your mouth when pulling hard.

You can test to see how the filtration changes with different level of waters. And with a beaker bottom bong like yours or any bong with a downstem, you could try inclining the bong and see how that changes the filtration.

definitely some people like more filtration then others, just showin my style! love the responses

It all depends on the piece. Some have downstems; some don't. Tree percs, showerheads, disc. etc. Generally use a small amount of water in a double disc stemless and get great filtration/perfusion with littl drag.

absolutely, some people like as little water as possible, some people want the tighter/harder/faster rips with more water/ice, im just curious as to what everyones favorite styles and blends are! i like the water warm (tap water warm) and then some squares of ice, its a weird blend i know. but i like it
