I know that a handful, vitamin B6 as an example, can be pretty dangerous in too high of dosages.

But as far as B12, is there any danger in using MASSIVE amounts sublingually?

And what kind of time length, dosages, etc, are we talking about after a VERY long nitrous oxide bender?

Do you have to stick with the 1 a day on the bottle, or can i do maybe 3 sublingually twice a day for example?

Aren't vitamin b12 shots massive doses? I don't really want to talk to my doctor about all of this.

This could be answered with a google search

According to Dr. Kevin Passero, vitamin B12 is well-tolerated, even in doses well above the recommended daily allowance. Because vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin, it is difficult to overdose or build up vitamin B12 toxicity. With water soluble vitamins, the body excretes excess amounts in the urine instead of storing it.

Isn't it true that taking one B vitamin in isolation will prevent adequate absorption of other B vitamins? I've seen people recommend full spectrum B-vitamin supplements for that reason, but I'm not sure if there's really anything to it.

I can't find a source for that so let's file under "probably not true" for now.

I know that b12 is taken up via some sort of active transport mechanism and stored and released over long periods in some way, since it's so dietarily rare, so we need to maintain constant serum content over long periods via such mechanisms. This is why b12 deficiency doesn't become symptomatic until a few years in, often nearly 10. It looks like there might be some rate-limitation of active transport (in either direction), preventing overdose.

Those shots give me super human energy for several days... I believe I was doing 1000ug per shot like once a week. It was amazing totally stopped all desire to do stimulants for energy for a couple days, but if i did the shots too often (tried to do it daily) it would stop giving me energy. I never felt anything doing it sublingual or oral even if I tried to take several of those strips a day or drink a full bottle of sublingual syrup.

I'm pretty sure B12 injection is pretty standard, doctors sometimes give people shots if they're low. I know they are available at the pharmacy if you have a prescription but I think most doctors wouldn't prescribe it unless you are low on a blood test, and i'm not sure how often doctors would write a script for you to do it yourself.. probably rare but I have no idea. I'm guessing most insurance wouldn't cover it also unless your low on a test.

The shots do give you a huge burst of energy though.. felt like I had energy like I took some amphetamine. I think I was doing 1000ug shots.

Various forms of B12 are available over the counter in supplement/vitamin stores. I've seen the strips and sublingual liquid, but for me it only gave me that superman energy doing an IM shot so its probably more bio-available that way.
