Opioids how much ms contin equals to 15mg of oxycodone?

I usually take 15mgs of percocet,oxycodone. But i ran out today. I have a ms contin(morphine sulfate) 200 mg pill. How many mgs of morphone will equal to 15 mg oxycodone? Can i defeat the time release by chewing it? I guess do the math of opiod tolerance with no cross tolerance to morphine. Im hurting bad, so plz dont judge just answer, and how long does it last in ur systgem?
 
Oral morphine equivalent dose is: 22.50 mg with 0% cross tolerance reduction.

No one is going to judge here.
 
kadian capsule 200mg how much mgs in each bead?

I take 15 mg of oxycodone, but im out nd i got a kadian capsule, 200mg, how much mg is each one of those beads? Im hurting bad can i instant realease them to hit like oxycodone?
 
Dump out the beads and crush with a piece of paper and a lighter. Separate the powder into 10 equal parts so you end up with 10, 20mg doses. Swallowing the powder is recommenced.
 
You can't defeat MS Contin by chewing/crushing alone. It will stay time released.

Orally administered morphine is around 30% bioavailiable, as opposed to oxycodone which is about 90%. The two drugs are reasonably similar in potency when administered parenterally, so morphine will be around 1/3 as potent.

Try something like 1/4 of the tablet (50mg, time released). You can always take more, but when you start feeling sick it's hard to take less.

problem is my brother opened the pill and took some, so idk how much was in der, im scared to take some without knowing how much is in each bead. But im in alot of pain, amd th e.r. wont help me anymore. Does anyone know how much is in each bead? Can i crush the powder and snort it? How long will the morphine last?
