Opioids how much dilaudid is equal to oxy????

ok my ?? is i normaly snort 30mg of oxy to achieve my desired results and my doc just switched me to dilaudid and i am wondering how much dilaudid i will need to snort to achieve similar effects? i know its a diferent drug but i dont want to od on dilaudid by taking to much so how much is equivalent to 30 mg oxy

Hydromorphone has much inferior bioavailabilities through most ROA's compared to oxycodone via the oral and nasal routes. Nasally, HM is up to 50%, so factor this in.

30mg of oral oxycodone = ~12mg oral hydromorphone.

Remember that you can always slowly titrate your dose up to where you want to be, but you can't take back drugs you've already administered, so go slow and steady and be responsible, not reckless.
