If I go on methadone 30ml for 5 days, will I suffer physicial withdrawal symptms? How about if take it 2 days, skip the third day, and then take it another 2 days?

Some background:

I am young, healthy, my metabolism is good.

I have taken methadone for a few days at a time and was fine, though I don't remember the specifics.

I am currently not opioid dependent, though I once had a mild dependency on suboxone after being on it for a month (quit relatively painlessly, just a few bad days). I am quite opioid tolerant as I used to IV dilaudid and heroin daily (16mg dilly shots + quarter g of heroin at a time), though I was not a morning to night user and never really got withdrawals from that.

Yes I have UTFSE and did not really get exactly what |I was looking for

I am not sure about that dose for only a few days, but from someone who has experienced it I would not wish Methadone withdrawal on my worst enemy. Play it safe and skip the third day.

If you have been addicted to opioids before, especially higher potent ones like dilaudid/Heroin/Bupe, the time frame of regular consume can be very short until you experience physical WD-symptoms. But no one can give you an exact number of days.
You are definitely playing with fire and I think 5 days would be more than enough to get hooked again. In your situation I wouldn't take it more than one day or the risk is just too high. Even with your 2 days Methadone, 1 day break plan.

I would definately be sick if i took methadone like you are planning to take it. you need to space it out more buddy. especially drugs like methadone with long half-lives.

well Dick Tate, i was only dependent on subox, took it a month and really only experienced 1 bad day where i was sick. plus a few days of insomnia. that's it

since then, i think i have done something along the lines of the 2 days methadone, 1 day break, 2 more days plan and i think i was fine...but i don't remember exactly what i did.

i was never physically dependent on heroin/dilaudid, just psychologically. i just took subox to prevent me from using heroin/dilaudid. i stopped cause i felt i didn't need it anymore

but lets suppose i do this and get dependent. how bad will the withdrawal symptoms beÉ

based on the responses, i wonder if i may be resisitant to opioid dependence. i IVed dilaudid/heroin 2-3 times a day for 7 weeks straight and suffered no withdrawal symptoms, and those were not small doses either. but while i was a daily user, i was not using continiously (morning to night(.

when i was on suboxone 8mg for a month, i did a very rapid taper and was sick only for a day.

i did take methadone for a few days (don't remember how many, approx 5 with one day skipped, and again no withdrawal symptoms. i wish i remembered exactly how many days i took it and when my break was

however i do not want to tempt fate.

by doing stuff like this (e.g. this methadone idea), do i increase my chance of becoming opioid dependent each time?

Everyone is different when it comes to opioid dependance...

Yes I have UTFSE and did not really get exactly what |I was looking for

That's because nobody can give you an exact figure for when you'll feel withdrawals.
