Opioids How many 5/500 hydrocodones is to much?

When I was in 9th grade I took 32 ccc's, and 8 hydrocodone 10s. I ended up in the hospital simply because my mom freaked out. (Hit 4th plateau shit was awesome) But when they blood tested me for Tylenol they found not a single trace. The doctor was stunned and had no explanation and assumed I lied and took something else to try to 'kill myself' blah blah blah. I guess what I'm saying is I definitely wouldn't think 8 5/500s would be lethal. Don't 100% take my word for it, however. The statistics maybe speak otherwise.

Is there a monopoly in the hydrocodone industry like there is in oxycodone and oxymorphone? Without going into specific price discussion, I probably could get an entire script of hydro/APAP for the price of #1 pill of brand name Opana ER or OxyContin.

It's too bad the FDA keeps cockblocking oxycodone and oxymorphone and other media-stigmatized drugs from a truely competitive capitalist market just like everyone else. But the FDA (And USDA, EPA, etc) is corrupt like a fuckin fourty dollar bill. As long as the money ends up in the right bank accounts at the end of the day, the shareholders are happy.
