How Long Will Hydrocodone (Vicodin) stay in your system?

How Long will a pill containing Hydrocodone stay in your system? I checked several sites but they only refer to opiates. I just wondered how long the opiates from Vicodin or Lortabs show up in a urine screen. I asked this question last night but the responses we're not very helpful. I am new here so i apologize if my wording of questions is not correct. I could really use the info. due to a drug screen coming up and i don't have a prescription.

why don't you just wait till after your drug screening? thats what i would do.

Just because people are slow to answer doesn't mean you need to repost the question. Now we have an extra thread we don't need. Do a search on drug testing and opiates.
