Opioids How long will fentanyl patch last if cut in half?

Simple question - How long will a fentanyl patch last if cut in half? The usual length is supposed to be 3 days. If cut in half does it still last 3 days with half the dosage per hour or does it only last 1.5 days?

I can't imagine how it wouldn't be 3 days with half the dosage per hour.

Yeah it wont cut the time in half, although it will cut the dose in half.

Well from my personal experience I cut my into quarters for safety sake and sucked on a quarter of one and didn't get the desired affects, lol. Then, I started to suck on the half and put the other half on my skin. It could last some time. It's really up to you.

My guesstimate would be 2-3 days for a casual user and most of the day for moderate-heavy.

Right......anyways if anyone thinks that the fent patch rate of release is not directly based on the surface area with vertical diffusion of the fent down and into the skin, feel free to PM me and I'll open this back up.
