Heroin How long will dope remain stable in a sealed bag?

Hi

If one were to have east coast powdered dope, how long would it would it remain stable (keep it's potency), if it was kept in the sealed, dry stamped bag it came in? If it is over a year old is there any reason to believe it has lost its potency or "gone bad" in any other way?

The salt is pretty sturdy in dry conditions and I wouldn't expect any problems unless it was in extreme temperatures or direct sunlight. Any loss of potency or problems are likely insignificant compared to the fact that you don't really know what is in the bag besides what your dealer said anyways.
