Hello -

I have recently cut back from about 3 months of daily marijuana use. I intend to return in about a month (except I plan on getting high on 420), maybe more, but my main concern for doing this is to clear out the thc. NOT FOR DRUG TESTING. I want to know how long until I basically feel normal again. I can feel my short term memory slowly returning, but how long until I get rid of this "foggy headed" feeling and reduce my tolerance so I don't find the need to use more than needed? I'm also wondering what techniques I can use to help achieve this. I have a pretty fast metabolism and I weight about 115 pounds.

Captain makes excellent points. For me, when I first started smoking good weed, I would wake up with a pleasant "weed hangover," but after time that goes away and you really end up missing it.

Just keep smoking at your pace, typically effects from smoking, even on those with very low tolerance, end within 8 hours, and afterglow effects cease somewhere around 2-3 days. I find eating, exercise, or caffeine can stimulate this process a bit.

Pleasant tokin'

Cannabis effects can linger 4+ hours.

After a few days you should feel exactly like you used to.

This has been my experience as well. Around the 3-4 day mark is when the foggy afterglow clears away during my breaks.

I've been smoking daily for so long that I've forgotten what sobriety was. Even smoking one snap a day made me a bit cloudy, but I didn't even realize that I was cloudy until I quit again for a few days.

I like this quote: "When you're high every day, being sober's a trip."

I always recover rather quickly but I know what you mean. Your memory should keep improving for a bit. 3 months is very little time to be stoned in the grand scheme of things.

I haven't smoked in 3 days, and I pretty much feel like my old self and if I were to continue not smoking I would expect subtle but definite improvements over time.

Techniques you can use are consumption of raw food, a little coffee, yin yoga, and physical exercise.

Agreed.

I feel fine after 3 days of none smoking and rest.
Hit the gym buddy, speeds the process up/ helps the cravings (if any).
