Quick question. I’ve been tapering off of oxycodone for about 6 months now. I’ve been doing really well and I’ve gotten down to between 5-10 MG a day. Some days I don’t take any, but I definitely still need to continue this taper down to nothing due to me not being able to take time off work etc…
I was on subs in the past and trying to get off them was the worst experience… so much so that I actually switched back to a low dose oxy regimen. The other day I could not get any pills from my doc but I did have some old subs lying around. I took 1 MG (half of 2mg strip). This is the only sub I’ve taken in a year. I did get some more 5mg oxys. My question is how long should I hold off on taking them? Should I just wait until I feel withdraw symptoms? I’m going to do my best to not take them at all but have a feeling that I might need to.
