how long to return to original hydrocodone tolerance?

i used to take 35mg hydrocodone every other day and then i stopped to lower my tolerance but i was wondering, how long would it take to return to minimal tolerance? can i even return to original tolerance? if no then what may my tolerance be? i have already waited a week since i last took hydrocodone.

It should be almost none in a week but I would wait another week just to be sure. I don't think you can get as high as you did when you first started unless you abstain for many months or years. Your receptors are still used to opiates even after your physical tolerance has hit near zero.

Very true^. another week and you'll be significantly low! But honestly if u want to keep a low tolerance I wouldn't start up doing 35mg every other day again... sounds a little much

If you abuse long and hard enough your tolerance may never truely return to zero. (IME)
