Opioids How long does it take to lose tolerance?

Okay, I use opiates occasionally. I usually end up taking them at least once a week. But I've noticed I'm actually building somewhat of a tolerance. 30mg of methadone barely affects me and I'm a skinny kid, 5'11 125lbs.

But then when I was in 8th grade and took 5 vicodin my first time and I didn't feel it.
