(answered) How long does it take to get a first post approved?

Hi, I posted on friday night in the "other drugs" forum. A pretty standard post, nothing that broke the rules and it was my first.

I'm still waiting for mod approval. Any idea how long it takes??

e: I see this one has gone live straight away. Is it because I was using a proxy that the first one was sent to a mod before appearing?

od posts do not, ordinarily, require approval. your posts was flagged as spam by our spam shield. don't ask me why - nobody knows how it works

i have approved it.

K thanks alsadairm, it's because of the proxy or associated IP most likely. Was aiming for full anonymity but I guess it's no big deal.

Not all your proxy IPs will trigger the spam shield function. Try changing your proxy IP and you should be able to post with that. It is possible to run Tor, etc and post on Bluelight. Just so happens that spammers use proxies and the like as well :/

Thanks NT. I appreciate the quick response. I'll take that into consideration, it was a tor proxy, I'll use a more elite proxy IP in future if I feel like it! At the moment I'm just posting in the clear, decided I'm not that bothered. Just means I'll take up a bit more space on the NSA storage drives lol jk... oh well!
