Opioids How long does it take for Opiate muscle twitches to go away?

So I have developed some light muscle spasms after using opiates for a few months. I have quit for a few weeks now but the muscle spasms are still continuing which is worrying. Does anyone have experience with muscle spasms persisting after quitting opiates? Did they go away completely? How long did it take? Thanks
