I read that the effects of ibogaine last up to 30 hours. The idea of tripping for 30 years straight scares me. Does the actual tripping part last 30 hours or is it just aftereffects that last that long?

For me the main trip lasts about 8 or 9 hours and then it slowly tapers off over the next day. But this kind of electric blue light effect especially in the peripheral vision remain for maybe four days. And the psychological effects are very deep, they change you and leave a powerful lingering felling. Oh yea the immobilizing effect lasts maybe 18 hours, I was still able to get up at some points but movement caused intense nausea and vomiting.
