how long do your high's last? (merged)

I smoked earlier for the first time since October 3rd

and I was high for 3 1/2 - 4 hours. It was sweet

the first time of the day like 30-60 min depending on the bud. Then usually dropping in half on the second time of the day. Then dropping down to about 15 min if i resmoke like every hour. If I keep smoking a bunch i can build up a nice buzz. It usually takes a good 2 hours to not feel stoned though.

i seem to forget that i'm high.

if i have to go out and do something that means talking to people or work or something, i will notice that i still feel it HOURS and HOURS later.

I get that too, but I think it's more the after-effects. ALso when I goto work stoned, I can see the last frame I saw of some old person's grumpy old face for like 5 seconds.. like an imprint in my mind.. heh

i think i've been smoking way to much. i smoke about 4 sometimes 5 times a day, it takes about a couple bowls of some real good buds to get me high, but my high's only seem to last for about 20 minutes or so. i remember when i could be high for about 2 hours. i think i should just take a break from the buds for a while. what do you think?

Seriously. You need to take a break dude. Lay off for about a week or so. 4 or 5 times a day? What the fuck do you do for a living?

Whereas everybody is giving you some weak ass advice; I will tell you this and you can believe it or not. That 4 or 5 times a day shit has got to stop.
Motherfucker, rember this if you do not remember anything else; drugs are to be used "recreationally" not constantly. You cannot continually chase that high all your life. Now, we all did some shit in school and college, but at some point you have to wake up and join the real world.

You can do drugs or they can do you. I wish you well my brother. I have seen too many lives wasted because of drugs.

well my highs last for about 1-2 hours depends on how good is the stuff!!! but i actually get the high and if i want to get more higher i drink some pepsi or eat anything that has some sugar it gets a lot higher!!! we do that here in egypt!!!

gosh, I miss those first timer highs. As much as you hate the idea...quit for a few months then smoke some good stuff...hydro and see how long your high's last!

The utterly ripped feeling lasts about half an hour, but I find that I feel relaxed and happy for 2-3 hours after smoking. Of course, it depends on how much you smoke.

I don't think I have a tolorance level really. The only thing I notice is if I don't smoke all day and wait to smoke until after 7:00PM, the high seems to last longer.

interesting... i've been smoking for 20 years, on and off pretty regularly (i currently smoke about 4 or 5 nights a week). I buy good hydro, and a single bowl will always get me totally stoned for an hour to 90 minutes, and the next few hours are always spent in nice, relaxed bliss.

My tolerance must be naturally low!

my highs average about 30 minutes, that's smoking a joint a day... if I go out for coffee and do stuff though, my high can be extended for much longer... maybe up to 2 hours... just keep the coffee coming and I'll never burn out :D... but the more pot I smoke, the less powerful each high becomes... so I try to keep my pot smoking in check... hard to do when ya get it for free though lol

my tolerance dies quick if I don't smoke anything for a while though... after no weed for a week then sparking up, it's just like my first time!

when i started to smoke, i could be high for 2-3 hours, and its alowly coming down now its still a good 2hours.
