How long and how can I store poppy seed tea?

I am completely fucked from drinking half of my poppy seed tea so I don't want to risk it and drink more. However I would like to store the rest, I know it's cheap as shit but I don't want to go though the messy extraction again. I have OCD and I ended up hoovering for at least 30 mins as I spilt loads lol. So how long can I store the tea for and how should I store it. Thank you.

Your best bet would be to put the tea in the fridge, covered.

I've never kept it for longer then a couple hours. I have a feeling if you leave it for too many days it will go funky, but you should be right for a day or two. Maybe if you freeze it you'll get more millage.
