Stimulants How long am I going to be up on this Adderall xr?

So this is my first post but i figured this is the right place to ask. Im not prescribed adderall nor do i need it, but i was given a 30mg XR and took it around 11 am, the effects have pretty much wore off entirely but its not past 2AM and im not the least bit tired. I have to be up in 4 hours and cant sleep a wink, I have 2 more of the XR 30 mg, if i take one now or when I start to get sleepy, if that ever happens, would I be good for tomorrow? I think Im done with this shit after these other 2 pills are gone.

Try to sleep until you have to be up. Even if you just get a small amount of sleep its better than none at all. I'd try to get through most of your day without dosing the other pills, it's only going to prolong the amphetamine cycle. You could also try crushing the spansules inside the caplet in a motar and pestel and parachute the resulting mess to convert most of it to instant release if you're worried about the XR system making you stay up all night again.

EDIT: Personally I always have benzos if I am taking amphetamine, as the state you are in drives me insane. Don't enjoy amphetamines at all but used them for studying or driving purposes a few times.

Placebo effect. What time did you wake up the previous day? If you woke up around 10 you've been up 16 hours. That low dose wouldn't last beyond 12 hours tops. I'd take the other two both at six am if you have to be up all day. Back to normal tm nite.

Try to sleep, if you can't, then just go through the day, keep well hydrated, take NONE of the
Adderall, and sleep early once you get home!. Drink coffee or tea etc to keep awake if
needed.

I'd stay away from stimulants recreationally, but, if using XR versions, crush them up, and
take only half the pill. Also only take the pill on days when you can afford to be messed up
the day after! The comedown (anxiety and sometimes insomnia) isn't worth it compared to
the short 'rush' you get, but that only comes with experience. Hope you get some sleep, be
safe tomorrow (you will feel 'down / depressed' to a degree but that will pass soon), and
let your body rest for a few days before even thinking of using any more of that stuff!

As has been said OVERALL effects (not the euphoric effects) can last up to 12 hours because of the levo-amphetamine. If you take it again make sure you take it very early and force yourself to eat and drink water throughout the day.

Thanks tro everyone who replied. I did end up taking the other 2, crushed them of course, still ended up being awake for about 46 hours and of course with that, ended up oversleeping a little today. I did like the initial effects of the shit but, Yeah defiantly not worth it

i dropped 60 mg ir dex isomer with baking soda and benzos 8 hrs ago... im about to redose... dex is way cleaner and easier on the body... if u can get it try it. if u liked adderall
