how long after taking codeine is it safe to take buprenorphine (subutex)

title says it all.. codeine only has a half-life of approx 3 hoours.. its 7 PM here, is it safe for me to take my bupe tomorow morning about 9AM?

I'd say you should wait at the very least 8 hours, possibly even a little more?
Just wait until you feel the slight effects of withdrawal and then you'll be fine to consume it

Are you on maintenance or do you obtain it on the streets/friend?

i'm on maintenance, but bassically i get my bupe, and do it all in one day 6 times 6mg then i keep one 6mg pill for the day before i see my sub doc just in case i get piss tested... i havn't done code codeine in about a month but had a sudden urge.. partly coz when i was benzoed out (at the beginning of the week) and drunk i took nearly all my benzos and mepro for the week (300mg of valium and 10mg of xanax and 2.4 grams of meprobamate+ a bottle of wine) leaving me with 0.5mg/day of xanax for the rest of the week, so the weeks been a bit tough, hence why i "needed" the codeine....
