How many hours (or days) could you stored some for in a sealed bottle?

IE. could you make some in advance of an event where you want to do it, but where there are no facilities for brewing....

Lets assume this hypothetical scenario involves (some would say non traditional) MHRB and Syrian rue...

I know for drugs involving IV no more than a few hours unless you use bacteriostatic water, however since that doesn't apply i would have to agree with the above post a few days should be safe, but i wouldn't push it. Something about saving a bunch of water that you mixed plant matter into to consume for more than a few days just doesn't sound safe to me unless properly sterilized and sealed. The stomach can handle many times more bacteria than your veins but there is still a limit. Who knows what could start growing in that.

So in order to do it outdoors with nature without cooking utensils:

Maybe brew just the MHRB a day in advance of going away.....

The Syrian rue could be crushed and stored dry in advance and then soaked on the day usage is required.

On the fridge, for several months without any problem or loss in potency. In the freezer, I have not found a limit. And even at room temperature, I've heard a story from fellow Santo-Daime members that after a long law issue in an European country, where a very big jug of the Daime was kept by the authorities for over a year. The contents of that jug, after released by the Police, as they could not prosecute the Church, was returned and was used in a ceremony. It was, as reported by many, extremely strong.

Take care that Ayahuasca ferments easily. All the Santo Daime I've had (almost regularly for near 2 years) has that particular slightly fermented taste, which I actually find pleasant (!). If you don't like it you can boil it a little bit for the taste and smell disapear.
