Hey guys/gals

Was just wondering why I cannot get "high" anymore, can anyone explain/Anyone ever had a similar problem?

MDMA, Amphetamines and 2cB No effect. Even when I have been off my anti-d's for 5 weeks!
Oxycodone No Effect even when insufflating/Eating 20mgs of Oxynorm (Immediate Release) No "god like" sensations or "Rush" to speak of. Even though before last week i've never tried it! Opiates I have taken recently however are morphine IM, Oramorph, Tramadol and Codeine, cos I was in hospital. Tolerance? but i am only talking about 3 days on a ward! Before that all i'd taken were slow "continuous" release 60mg DHC. No high there either. Taken Tramadol in 200mg + no effect.
Cocaine-1g in a night having only tried twice before, no rush effect there either. Waste of time.
Marijuana-This i can get high on but its only good for sleeping otherwise its lost its enjoyment (music etc)

Do I have a ridiculously high natural tolerance?
Or is there something else going on here?

hey, I suspect its mainly or entirely tolerance. I used to trip on weed (it wasnt a huge trip, but yes i have actually tripped) to the point of having a different personality, memory loss, speech impediment, overall ego degeneration etc. for about a month after the high. this was about 20 months ago. I used weed daily from about a year on, and i got very high for about a month. It got kinda lame but for the rest of that year it was still enjoyable despite lots of eventual side-effects. Anyway, right around 1-year-point, not that long ago, i had such a high tolerance that i could barely feel any buzz. jack herer, a known strong strain, was like nothing. bowl after bowl and a basic buzz, yet 3 hits of my friends bud used to make me really, really high, something which most people dont believe. but yes, it was like infinite spectrum of visual distortions, soon after auditory hallucinations, i dont need to tell my whole weed story here.
I have had serious tolerance problems with benzos and z-drugs, arguably higher than weed, and i was interrupted. since im drunk i dont know where to continue but without a doubt i will post this rather than delete it. ^_^

I know the drugs iv'e been trying are the real deal, some of them are pharmaceuticals which I have scripts for, so there not counterfeit, others have been tested.

so yeah they obviously don't like me!8)
 
youre fucked i guess, maybe try getting drunk, booze might kickstart some things and hopefully get things going...thats pretty close to my worst nightmare just having the lovely drugs go on strike like that

I looked at this once again now that I'm both drunk and high so should be smooooth sailing. Well the obvious question is, have you done them a lot before?
Anyway I've heard that acid is the shit. Basically if you can still feel mescaline or shrooms, acid is still a blast.
 
No I can count on my hands how many times Ive tried coke, Amphetamines and MDMA.

I might try snorting 40mg of Oxy see what that does.

2c-b iv e tried twice once snorted half a pill and eat the rest. Did nothing, so next day ate 2 more pills. No effect.
 
Well amps shouldnt have any effect, nor should oxy's. What anti-d's were you on??

Im on lexapro 20mg and I take amps every other day and works fine.

Ive blown 20mg's oxys and have gotten a rush,

2c-b i havent done in 2 years and never really get the opportunity to get it (unfortionately)

Mdma you wont be able to feel; it can take up to 2 months to even feel anything from mdma after coming off anti depressents.
 
Ohh and weed shouldn't have any effect...i smoke everyday (off and on anti depressents) and noticed no difference.

I used to abuse mdma, LSD and hydrocodone to great extents and for awhile I couldn't smoke with other people: id start getting paranoid and would litterally "trip" if you will and would be thinking a million things at once. Upon stoping those drugs (10 months clean!) my weed highs have gone back to the more laid back chill high that I love. Love indicas with a passion.

Yeah well i guess i react differently to things, I use to get massive weed highs not anymore, got more tolerant!

still i cant understand why i cant get off on oxy, its sooooo annoying.

I've gotten sooo high from weed so I'm not one to talk. I suppose if I was on 30 benadryl I wouldn't feel any drug... My only guess ur cholinergic system is down. Maybe maybe not
 
The anti depressant i WAS taking was Effexor XL 75mg, The withdrawals were terrible Im now on Sertraline, what a fuckin waste of time its turned my anxiety from chronic to life destroying.

Im desperate for a way out, drugs aren't it, but right now i REALLY need this break.

Whats cholinergic?

I agree, as a drug abuser, I can say most drugs are bad for most ppl etc. I've said it a million times.

Oh and the cholinergic system relates to acetylcholine, which benadryl antagonizes. It also causes a lack of awareness. Since I was drunk when I said that, it's untrusbavlr by any meanz. In retrospect it wasn't a very imprtant post
 
how would that make a difference?

I don't like alcohol i don't see the point its a shite drug, just like benzo's.

Being drunk and high, I made a link between the loss of awareness from anticholinergics and being naturally unable to notice drugs. I guess I implied that you had dementia as the reason for not feeling drugs.

I didn't see a point either, until the weed. If anxiety and paranoia finally get to you cuz of drugs, you'll see a point in alcohol and benzos
