It is straight rainy, soggy, overcast and about 46 degrees F. Not a pretty day. The dogs barely even want to be outside.

A nasty wet snow/rain mix has been coming down all day

Over the Puget Sound as of noontime PST, it is 45°F and drizzling – just the way we like it, 'round these parts.

Got a late-winter blast of cold weather here, lows of 27°F (-3°C), and even a sprinkling of snow yesterday.

well in kernville , guess its tiny mountains...still not a yearly happening.its cold, 2 days ago it was near 80`s. now its 46

Near the Sequoias, nice. I want to visit So. Cal. and the desert Southwest, never been.

Yep it is. The snow level was a ridiculously low 1,500--2,000 feet. All the mountains are blanketed in white. It even snowed here briefly this morning. Love this weather!

yeah ive live from San Fran to san Diego.........miss Oregon but not the rain just the green. i was raised in Parker AZ. but no matter where ive moved i get sucked back to Cali

California has micro climates. Because of the topography of the state.

Just when you thought you were out... they pull you back in!

I like the rain myself. Most of the time, it isn't so heavy that you get drenched just walking around in WA, except in places on the coast like Aberdeen (where Kurt Cobain grew up). What gets to people is more the dark grey clouds and short daylight in the winter, like you might not see the sun for 3 weeks straight in December.
