we got lots of forrest preserves by my house too and because of that you can go on some nice routes...we got one called '107' which is really the best route there is cause its about 1blunt to complete the route and the route basically is a circle so you can finish where you started and go back to where ever it was you came from...and the whole route is forrest preseves so there isnt alot of traffic and there is no houses (your not in a forrest preserve your on a main public road but the woods are all around you..the only cops you see are fprrest preserve cops which is part of the sheriffs department but they dont really patrol the roads outside of the forrest preserve itself..ive been goin on this one route for the past 10years and not once have i seen anybody even pulled over on it..
also with a 107 you dont have to do the main route, if you got more then 1 blunt and want something longer, off of that one street i can take you on at least 4 or 5 other routes that will enentually end in the general area where you started
once i got older i realized that the routes we took where a little too close to the neighborhoods and as i got older i seemed to notice more police presence(i mean everyone knows what a '107' is in my area, the cops, peoples paretns, everyone cause a 107 is what they iused to take 30years ago)..its not uncommin to see someone you know on a 107 at the same time and you think "assholes, why didnt they call me?" or even someone you dont know but yet they are smoking too so my favorite route after a 107 is drivin downtown..
where i live im about 20mins from downtown chicago and of that 20mins it takes 5mins to get to the highway, so really its only 15mins and your downthere..downtown routes arent a 1-2blunt route though..they are more like a 3,4,5 blunt route but really you just need more then 2(1 for there and 1 for home)
now the point of these routes we take is to stay out of the cities and away from the people and goin downtown is the opposite of all that but really we dont care... theres really no chance of getting pulled over by a cop and if you did get stopped they arent arresting you for weed...but we go downtown cause its a nice cruise, chicago doesnt have a ton of traffic at the time we go but its slow moving down there, which is perfect for being stoned, you get to people watch, its just something differnt hten looking at the woods..when we go downthere for a route i actually have my own set route and dont stray from that really..its the best way to see the citys nice parts especailly if your not familer with it...ill evcen tell it to you
take I55 to LSD then you take LSD all the way to belmont, you take the belmont exit to clark and thats where you can go right or left depending on whos in the car..you go right basically to drive past wrigley field, across the street from that is a mcdonalds that you use to turn around, you jump back on clark and basically take that all the way back threw the city until you get to illinois where you go left and right before you get to navy pier you jump back on LSD and procede to go home
by taking clark it basically takes you from wrigley and the metro on the northside and brings you back threw the loop..you can go anywhere in chicago using this street not to mention see anything...clark also is my favorite street in chicago for shopping and just over all sightseeing, yes even better tne michigan ave...clark doesnt have the famous highend stores that michigna ave has, it has the little mom and pop and trendy stores, its got headshops, it also takes you threw river north which has the rock and roll mcdonalds along with some many other famous resturants like the weiner circle and buildings like city hall and the daley center with the picassos..iu mean it is the best st...even the st valentines day massacre took place on it
