How does PGP work?

when i sent my address through message i forgot to use the public pgp key that was posted on the user profile..does this mean the person wont be able to/choose not to read the message with my address?

Well if you sent your address and it wasn't through PGP, consider your address compromised. You didn't encrypt your address before ordering, so your address/drop is sitting available in plain text on the vendor server now. When/If your vendor gets seized, your address is available to LE without them having to do anything. I wouldn't order anything to that address anymore.

the vendor will be able to read it just fine, but lots of them refuse non encrypted addresses (they cancel your order and refund you money)
