How does DXM compare to Ketamine?

Alright, I've had a lot of experience with Ketamine, at very low doses, low doses, medium doses, high doses and very high doses. However I have not tried any other dissociatives.

I may be interested in trying DXM because I recently moved to Poland and so far I have not been able to find anyone who uses or sells Ketamine, however DXM is available over the counter here and is pretty cheap too. It's around 5x cheaper here than the UK, though I'm unsure as to whether we can discuss prices or not here so I wont state the actual prices.

Anyway, from what I've read up about it, DXM seems to be around 1/4 of the potency of Ketamine, so for an experience similar to a K hole, someone with no tolerance would need to ingest ~600mg, and someone with regular/mild tolerance would need ~1000mg. I've also read that the effects on opiate receptors are noticeable even at lower doses - and this also means a lot of itching. Along with this it seems that DXM has a greater effect on serotonin than Ketamine does, so it should produce more euphoria, oh and finally of course I'm aware that the duration is a lot longer than that of Ketamine.

So anyway, a few questions:
1) How euphoric is DXM? The Ketamine euphoria for me is not like typical euphoria, it's more like I just love how weird I feel - but I'm not overwhelmed by happiness like with certain other drugs. Also if I dose at night it seems very neutral or sometimes almost negative, while if I take a low dose of Ketamine during a sunny day outside I'll feel great.
2) For people that have taken 1000mg+ doses *and* used 250mg+ of Ketamine, how did the experience compare to a K hole?
3) How bad is the itching at higher doses? Is there any way to combat it other than antihistamines? (since purchasing antihistamines would no longer make it worth its price as they're not that cheap here)
4) For people who have taken both Ketamine and DXM at equivalent dosages, do you find one to be more nauseous than the other? (I ask this because originally with Ketamine there was no nausea whatsoever but with my last two experiences I threw up multiple times and the nausea persisted throughout the entire experience.)

Thanks in advance :)

1) It can be blindingly euphoric, but this effect is not consistent - it all depends on the individual and their context. Of course it is a very strange neutral euphoria, but then it is a dissociative - portal to the nightside.

2) It is by no means necessary to ingest 1000+ mg of DXM to reach k-hole levels. The most intense, miraculous DXM experience of my life was on just 350 mg (+cannabis). However, I only weigh 95 pounds, and I tend to be very **receptive** to most "drugs".

It is very very different from ketamine. I understand why most people prefer ketamine - it is softer, gentler, easier to use. Ketamine is a Lady, whose Love and Deception alternate so rapidly as to become indiscernible. DXM is not a Lady... it is purely alien, purely Other. I find it sharper, colder, less forgiving than ketamine... K wants to seduce you... but DXM is either indifferent or will eat you for lunch!

3) I've never had any itching, but perhaps this is because I have always approached DXM with deep respect, in a spiritual/magickal context.

4) Ketamine always makes me feel deathly ill and nauseous on the comedown. I sometimes feel a little nauseous on the DXM comeup, but it is easily remedied with cannabis. The DXM comedown can be a bit harsh too - vision blurry, brain feeling raped, etc.

I don't think DXM should be used more than 2 or 3 times a year.

Hope this was at least a little helpful :)
