How do your favourite authors inspire you?

What authors do you read on a regular basis, and how do they inspire you, both in life and in your writings.

Many of my writings are deeply inspired by Henry Rollins. He's one of the best authors I know. It's so strikingly real. A lot of my stuff is similar to his. I love those short little vignettes he writes.

And I love Ben Franklin quotes. I have multiple stories spun off from various quotes from Poor Richard's Almanack.

Robert Frost doesn't inspire my writing, but his works inspire my life. He' s one of the greatest poets I have ever read.

Wilfred Owen : I have no words for how incredible I find this man's poetry.

Isaac Asimov : Writes with vision that I find incredible.

Arthur C Clarke : Ditto.
