Computing how do you use technology in everyday life?

Do people on here that have smart phones regret getting them or no? Some people i know do. I have never had a cell phone smart or otherwise so i dont know if its better or not. I think about getting one but really i only wanna use it for tinder anyway

I only got one a few years back. Took me years to take to it. Honestly think it’s pretty cool now… but definitely comes with issues. Especially in massively censorial authoritarian Britain these days :\
 
I think I’ve been on here too much here lately. I get wrapped up in stuff too much because I’m so sensitive. I gotta learn how not to give a fuck so I am not so easily disappointed. I’ve been on this site way too much lately. Yall know what I’m talking about. I need a break from here. I gotta stop living in fantasy world and get some real human interaction for awhile. It can get redundant after awhile

Technology can be great.

It’s not evil but it’s also not neutral.
Most platforms are engineered to monetize our attention, emotion and behavior. These algorithms dont care about what’s true or what’s good for us. All they care about is what keeps us engaged, what provokes a reaction and what increases predictability. It’s easy to forget that it’s not necessarily on our side.

It can have an unhealthy influence. It makes me irritable sometimes. I get mental fog and feel a loss of depth. I think we all need some digital discernment about when it’s time to put the phone down and go outside. When it gets compulsive and we feel pulled like we’re not choosing it anymore. I know I ain’t the only one that feels this way. These are signs that are nervous system is being overstimulated. That’s not good yall.
 
kelse, go finish your high-school, get a degree and then at very least you could have some low-reward options regarding the IT field
then my other advice, and what matters, is to get a degree, learn some other non-naturalized languages and then proceed to actual master those by going at session class and then exams as the final point.
then finish a faculty, better yet, at very least one big year, and then you'll be able to learn the other side of this realm. I can tell you this much, there's a lot of layoffs atm, many companies let go of codding in favor of AI, so more or less, i'd be a dead job or forgotten entry for the upcoming years. Now what this means is that because the SRL's are looking to save even 2% of the profit and because the insane rise in currency that was never seen before, such as EURO currency increasing by 0.0001-0.9991 by my math, per few weeks or days. Their aiming at making EURO more expensive than any other, $ too. This job will not pay your bills, no matter even if you fly out of US or into other random part of the world that you thought "yo" like, tss.
that's what i can say, you're quite the positive part of the room, if you want, or when you want to. So you do have the motivation to aim even higher, like biggie said, Sky is the limit.

i use a lot of tech
i use my laptop, ipod, 3ds and my pda (hp ipaq) the most
at this point i honestly only use my phone for youtube and calls
if i could i would use my blackberry 7230 as my main phone
i dont really like modern electronics very much
and im getting a dvd camcorder today because my micro mv camcorder died (rest in peace)
my main pc's are my gateway 2000 (windows 98) and my dell workstation (windows 7)
i used to use my two way pager to buy drugs mainly cuz my old plug was paranoid as fuck and he was also a tech nerd

It way worse DIGID the app on my phone that i got lured in. Is to do government related shit. So a sort of digital chain that once on feels bit like a weight you cant shake of anymore. DIGID dont work really a pain in the ass. It went Bankrupt a whistle blower brought to attention act or otherwise all data private of any dutch citizen is in US hands. Trump didnt like that but what does he like i wonder. A weird hairdo for sure and a AI

The Bank transfers are partly or whole rely on these Android a.s OS-es. But one of my banks already uses a NFC chip reader to confirm your ID its in the newest not-dumb phones not in mine. So that was 'kiele kiele' meaning had to do a spa-gate in order to be able to pay my dues like the rent. Visit a office of my bank with a ID there offices are becoming rare and rarer

It me still as ever. Times are changing not for the better since digitalising begun things worked lesser and lesser. While the company make money app builders. Win to way less cost in personal when automatizing.

What really sucks the waiting menus music, i d say lets keep quiet they dont. Awfull shit looped ... wrong. The Robo voice things gone atm but ever had a talk wit a callcentres in India [not only scams also serious businesses used these] Hilarious

I use technology for a source for information and learning and to
merge, combine and balance with real life.

Asset and commodity.
 


This weather event happened just last night that were local (In the same or adjoining counties to me). Without weather tracking data many people might have lost their lives in this one night alone. As it is many of them may have lost their homes and possessions but are still alive. Many of these tornadoes were rain wrapped, meaning one could not see them.

This is just one concrete example of why "window observations" are not enough and it is wise to be aware and safe, depending on where you live.
