Computing how do you use technology in everyday life?

no, but those things aren't a concern in my life. why do you track such events?

i was aware of the most recent X-class solar flares and felt like a dimwit waiting for something of consequence to happen.

UV level is just about the only thing that is vital to know that I can't figure out on my own.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, for example, skin felt cool to touch, but the UV was so high I got a red neck from being outside just 15-20 minutes. I absolutely would have spent more time exposed and been burned to a crisp had I not checked the weather app beforehand

I’m scared about how reliant we’re all becoming on depending on our phones for all our information and knowledge

Or maybe I’m concerned about myself doing that

I need to get in my physical bible more and put my phone down more. For real lol
 
I only miss having a phone so i could use tinder. Cant use tinder wthout a phone sadly. ther then tat i mean i can do most things on a computer. Well that and take a pictue but if i need to do tat i borrow my moms phone.

i do! i'm interested in how other people use technology. that's why i asked why you track those things, as you didn't mention why you do it.

i made a METAR data parser a while ago and also ran a public API for Canadian weather data, but ended up winding it down because i wasn't really getting a meaningful ROI on it.

add that to my long list of ways tech has made my life harder not easier. some of my dead-end projects end up getting traction but others just -- pow, into the dustbin of my life

i don't have my mic set up yet but i got a fancyish one so hopefully it sounds good
