How do you tell the difference btween LSD and DOB? (DOC, etc)

For LSD and DOx the duration is a good indication, acid trips tend to end completely within 8-12 hours (bar subtle effects/feeling odd), DOx will last significantly longer.

It's likely if you've been buying cid for a while, that you're getting cid. Don't be phased by the hype of 'it's not LSD on the blotter' shit, it's actually a lot more uncommon than you think and there tend to be giveaways such as difference in blotter size, specific art, etc.

having had both, it's easy.

Dox compounds can cause a significant amount of nausea IME. The effects allow me to tell them apart as well.

DOX compounds lasts longer, they strongly stimulate, like good amphetamine. I've also noticed on DOX compounds muscle tension, hypertension and nausea.
I didn't feel any of that while tripping on lsd

Acid kinda gives you that tranquil feeling .
Where you love all and your at one with the world (unless you see somehing that totally trips you out haha )

I don't think DOB is like that ?

I've tasted both LSD and DOC.

DOC is somewhat more stimulating than LSD, and I found it to be more visual, whereas LSD is more deep on the mind. The duration is another big factor - with LSD you'll be coming down typically after 8-9 hours of effect, whereas this will more likely be 20 or so with DOC.

That said, I have occasionally found LSD stimulating. Oh and someone above mentioned taste, but as I've never received a DOx on blotter (to the best of my knowledge anyway), I can't really comment on that, though DOC has a similar taste to 2C compounds (well 2C-P anyway), minus the burn.

Get ahold of some DOC. Take 1.5-2.0 mg. You will never ever wonder if you can tell the difference again. Once you've had both, you'll know.

When you eat a DOx blotter, it tastes seriously bitter. There's really no way to not notice because its like the most bitter thing you've ever tasted in your life, like bordering on a chemical burn in your mouth.

Also, DOx takes a couple hours before you even start to feel it. But none of this should matter, because you can Marquis test your blotters to see if they contain DOx!

Interesting point related to this. What colours do the regeants go with the different DOx compounds? I've seen great variation between the different 2C's. I'm wondering if a similar thing is seen with the DOx compounds.

Well, LSD results in no marquis reaction... so, any colored reaction from a supposed LSD blotter should be viewed with extreme suspicion.

I find reagent testing to be the best method of detecting if a chemical is what it is advertised...

Marquis, Mandelin and Mecke reagents are very helpful in identifying phenethylamines such as DOx.... especially when used with Simons and Robadope reagents...

EZ-Test now has a reagent that detects the presence of LSD and other indoles... its called "Ehrlich" reagent =D
