How do you know that when you tell someone you love them, that they actually understand how you feel?
You're only relying on the fact that they use the same words... but do they associate the same feelings to those words??
Do they feel the same thing that you do when they say it back to you? How can you possibly know?
Is it best to let actions speak for you? I mean you can see actions... you can undersatnd them... they can't lie...
Do actions speak volumes over words when you let your partner have the whole doona, (even though it's only a single doona), and you curl up in a ball to stay warm all night?
Does love mean more, or less if they don't know about it? Does an action need to be validated by your partner to constitute love? Or can you just wake up in the morning, knowing that your partner has had a great night's sleep, kiss them and say 'good morning' and get on with your day with the love in YOUR heart....
Just wondering... :)

Just thinking…
Love is universal.
Love is relative to nothing…not age, race, or sex. We’re all born with unconditional love for everything, everyone…we’ve all known love. It’s only as we grow and experience and learn and are taught, that boundaries are drawn.
Love is relative to how much of yourself you are willing to give up, to reveal without fear…the good and the bad.
Love is knowing that your partner would’ve slept without the doona for you if it meant you’d have slept better.
Saying I love you back is acknowledging and validating the actions and feelings and thoughts and energy you have received because you are loved.
Love is about wanting to give more than you care to receive.
Love is about soul and knowing and trust.
Love is immeasurable.
PS Love is trying to insert a picture of an iris here but having no idea how to :)
