Long time bluelight lurker/poster (old name fentanyl_eater but can't remember password...use to post back in early 2000s). Anyway, also a long time dope, oxy, etc. IV user. Now, I've had the chance to IV dilaudid many times and am always left thinking that they SUCK.

My tolerance currently is roughly 600mg of oxy (roxis) orally to get off. I don't get a great high, but it does the trick. I could easily do a 1000mg t once, and have, but being that they are a dollar a piece, and I already have burned through hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, I limit my daily intake to anywhere between 400-600mg taken at once, orally.

I have access to dope, and it's normally good (NYC powder), but my connection is so unreliable and takes hours and hours to get. The oxy men are a 10 second call and everything is set. Been on and off opiates (IV) for roughly a decade (very sad :( )

So, one of the oxy men comes into a new connect for the Purdue P4 (4mg) dilaudid. They are reasonably priced, so I figured despite my previous attempts with dillies, I will try again, being that if I fail at the IV, I can always just orally just consume a massive amount (I know, I know, a SIN in the opiate world), but it feels like that's my only option with my tolerance. Yesterday I ended up just eating 200mg (50 of the P4s) and actually felt it, quite surprisingly. Any newbs reading please keep in mind this is an outrageous amount to consume, but sadly my tolerance has been on auto pilot, climbing higher and higher for years and years, after stints with methadone and suboxone, and really only constrained by my finances.

Yesterday I took a ped egg/file and filed down to very fine powder 10 of the P4s for a 40mg shot. From my experience with IV, which is pretty extensive since I also abuse steroids and am familiar with different barrel sizes and gauges, I figured I could either fit the 40mg solution into 1cc of sterile water, just mixing it with the plunger, and then draw it up into a regular 29 gauge syringe, or worst case, use a 25 gauge 3cc rig I use for steroids. However, when trying to mix 10 of the pills in 1cc, it turns into a paste/gel like structure, and I am unable to draw into the 29 gauge through the cotton. It simply would not draw up. The 25 gauge will draw it up, but I end up drawing a lot of the powder as well, and it makes me very uneasy to shoot that. I ended up throwing in roughly 2ccs more, and draw up into the 25 gauge and tried to shoot. 25 gauge is a large gauge to try hitting veins with, even when having good veins. It normally is very difficult to hit, and it normally bleeds and leaves a big bump.

I tried using only 4 pills into 1cc, but it literally did nothing due to my tolerance. I am very frustrated with this predicament. I now have 17 4mg pills left. Can someone tell me roughly what is the most amount of the pills I can fit into 1cc? I read somewhere that 333mg of dilaudid can fit in 1cc, but I refuse to believe that is accurate when factoring the fillers and binders present in the pill, because then 40mg per cc should have been a piece of cake, but like I mentioned, it is more of a syrupy, thick mixture that is nearly impossible to draw up into a regular insulin pin.

Can someone explain how they do large shot of dilaudid and their procedure? I feel like I keep missing out. I can do a 16mg shot relatively easy, but it doesn't even get me out of withdrawal. Am I just doomed because of my large tolerance? I absolutely hate that I keep pretty much wasting these.

Any insight is very much appreciated. Thank you!

What about getting a bigger syringe? instead of a 1cc. They make them bigger for IM injections up to 5, 10, 25cc, then use a small needle attached like a 22 gauged

Have you considered using the 3ml 25 and doing multiple filters by ejecting the solution back out and re filtering it through a new cotton. If your going to shoot pills I would seriously consider useing microfilters.

I've shot thousands and thousands of dillies and never had that problem, although I always have the 8s, not the 4's. Perhaps there is something in the formulation of the pills that is causing this?

I'd try to dissolve less pills in the water and see where that gets you. Never shoot up something with visible particulates though, that will fuck up your circulatory system big time.

You can dissolve an absolute ton of hydromorphone in a small amount of water, it has to be one of the filler ingredients fucking up your shot...

Use A 3 OR 5 cc barrell with a smaller needle screwed on. Mix up a lot of dillys filter into the size of rig u choose with the 25 gauge tip. Squirt into another spoon screw on the higher gauge lets say 29 and re filter. I use A 3-5 cc when doing 5+ hydromorph 30s or if I gotta do. A Shit ton on ir pillsd

if your solution is gel'ing up your formulation has an abuse prevention matrix associated with the pil. you should prob just swallow it at that point.

on what planet are roxies a dollar a piece? I'd like to visit one time...

Anyways, what about rigging up two shots and just doing them real quick back to back one in each arm or something? Might have to finesse it but could be an idea, ive heard it before I think

I went through an entire bottle of P4's while in a benzo haze that I bought when I was shooting. Swear I didn't even get high. Woke up in the morning to an empty bottle. Pupils weren't even pinned. Don't know what the deal is either! This was in early 2013.

Yeah,Get a larger syringe with a small needle. I couldn't imagine using such a large needle. I did dilaudid off and on for years, 4mgs. and always felt 1 tab. That's an incredible tolerance you have going.....

I think the idea of using a larger syringe and a smaller needle is a good one. However, I know from experience that the generic 4mg and 8mg hydromorphone tablets dissolve beautifully (I used to get the small yellow 4mg all the time...they dissolved and filtered so well I had a hard time believing that they weren't made specifically for the purpose of being an I'vable pill:) There was also a larger white version around for a while and those didn't work quite as well, but they did the trick) even when dissolving an absurd number of pills. So I agree with Black Jesus that there's something in the Purdue formulation that is preventing the pills from dissolving properly...whether it be for abuse protection or just a funky filler. Did you research the Purdue formulation to see what's in it?

And always use a proper filter.

Still, I can't emphasize enough that I'ving pills is a terrible idea...I speak from experience (the type that ends you up in the hospital).

You know, you might try plugging the solution as opposed to banging it. In the good old days (not that long ago, really), I used to enjoy plugging almost as much as I'ving...and it's much safer.

Also, I don't mean to sound like your mom...about the hazards of shooting pills. I know you already know all about it. I'm just lookin' out.

I would suggest using an oral syringe, the 5 or 10 ml kind you can typically get for free at any Walgreens. Take the plunger out, and stuff a layer of cotton ball fiber into the bottom, making sure it covers the opening of the syringe where liquid would come out. Pour your powdered pills on top of this cotton, then add 2 - 3 ml of water. (This number will vary dramatically depending on the type and quantity of pill used) Stir it up, and reinsert the plunger, slowly forcing the liquid over the cotton and into another vessel. You should have a relatively thin fluid after this. (Note: It can take a few minutes to get all the liquid out from the oral syringe - keep up a steady but not insane pressure on the plunger) Now, go ahead and refilter this captured liquid, preferably with a micron, and have at it.
