How do you deal with burnouts after smoking ?

smoking early in the day does this to me no matter what else i do. the only real solution is to wait until the evening.

things that can help a little bit include: staying active, caffeine, taking a nap and vaping.

yeah, vaping doesnt make me burned out. it gives me a different high. and then go pull myself off the couch, drink an energy drink or comethin, and stay lucid :)





I don't get burnt out unless I smoke shitty bud..

So my solution is, only smoke dank :).. I'd say that might be your problem if you smoke alot of mids/regs.

really? i only get burned out or see people burn out on krip and headdies cause they get you way more high and you always tend to smoke too much. lol%)
 
when I smoke I usually drink 2 or 3 8.1% 24 oz's so I consider myself to take a nap afterwards either way, its all about planning my boy, planning.
 
Coffee, exercise, food, sunlight, 'up' music, and more weed might make it a bit more bearable. But only sleep gets rid of a burnt-feeling comedown completely.
 
You could try just taking a few hits instead of a whole bowl, as dumb as it may sound. The more you smoke, the more you get burned out- pretty easy concept
 
As posted before, a vaporizer will work wonders for a nice clean high. If you don't have access to one then I recommend you only smoke dank and no middies which will burn you out much much faster.

Also, another poster mentioned this as well--take fewer hits from the bowl/bong/joint. Try to achieve the "head change" and get high without getting stoned which leads to monging out on the couch which is what you don't want unless you're an insomniac :)

Other ways are to eat healthy, take a multi-vitamin, caffeine, or take a break from cannabis and try the good smoking blends like spice arctic, smoke XXX, etc, etc. Those have very little cross tolerance to cannabis so you can lower tolerance and get extremely baked off the "legal" blends

it really doesnt matter whether you smoke the dankest shit or the crappiest downtown brown... you're gonna get burnt out eventually. there's no magical quality of "dank weed" that somehow prevents the effects of burnout

I don't agree with that at all.

I can smoke dank once in the morning, or throughout the day, or even all day, and I almost never feel burnt out at all. If I smoke a 10 sack of some mids one time, I get a headache and feel burnt out after about 30 minutes.

It makes sense to me, you would presumably be smoking more inactive plant matter with mids than you would when your smoking the same amount of headies. But to be totally honest, I'm actually not sure what the "reason" behind it is, but its very common and definitely true for many people.

It's not about being a pot snob, I used to smoke mids too. But after a few months, mids = burnout and dank = :). So I figured I would share my experience just incase this guy was having a similar issue.

Also I just wanted to add, I personally don't consider being "sleepy" the same as being "burnt out". Then it would all depend on the strain you were smoking, alot of dank can make me sleepy (its often designed to do just that ;)). Its pretty rare I actually feel burnt from it though, but hey thats just me.
