Hey...whoa....wait just a minute.....yes I do live in Texas....but I'm not sure where relative to you. Yes I have a dry sense of humor...which most of you don't seem to get. Now just take a few deep tokes and calm down.

^^ communication is about 60% body language and 40% verbal

so without this body language and actually seein your face it is hard to differentiate b/w your 'Dry' humor and dumbass comments.

most try to compensate for this lack of bodylanguage with certain punctuation but this doesnt always work (i realize you use punctuation to get your 'dry' humor across im just sayin it was lost in translation)

right...and also..there are some generational and philosophical differences as well. I am almost done cleaning this glass...and I'm trying to decide if I want to recycle this unit into the general population(it's basically brand new). Some of us have been into the subculture for a long long time. I personally know someone that is going to become(if not already) a millionare selling vape equip and what not. I know it's popular...I just don't believe it's the best way to consume your weed.....it's just another way.

Wow, that's great, I hope your imaginary friend makes two million this year! Stop being an idiot.

more feen...take some deep tokes off of your machine...we're all still gettin to know each other here.

I hope my imaginary friend wakes up and finds himself two million dollars in debt to American Express one day. hahaha.....it would make that million dollars he made look pretty small.

so...you live in the bay area....let me guess....Berkely?.....no Oakland?.....I think I'll stick with Berkely. You don't know Roger M.?

Wrong again you fucking jackass. i don't actually live in the bay area, i live near the bay area but its funny to see people make generalizations about me based on misinformation:!

Ok bud......whatever you say. I just think it's funny how much pent up rage you have.......do you need to take some deep tokes too?

Hate to interrupt your little squabble here, but I just wanted to point out that there's no way communication is 60% body language, haha. We can communicate fairly complex ideas here on Bluelight with zero body language - try that with body language alone.

just because we communicate well on BL doesnt make this fact negligable.

i have taken two communications courses and interestingly enough both classes made it a point to point out communication comes in a large part from how one presents themselves physically and through facial gestures.
go and look around anyhwere that is gonna tell you about effective communication skills i garuntee it will talk about how important body language is

Yes, I'm sure body language is a big part of everyday face-to-face conversation. However I was arguing that body language couldn't be more than half of all communication, simply because we can do so much more with words alone than body-language alone. Perhaps I have a particularly hard time understanding the importance of nonverbal communication - I've always been much better with instant messaging, forums, e-mail, etc. than conversation in person.
