Cook up some munchies or order take out, provide the entertainment - movie, video game, whatever; just be a good toking buddy, and of course, thank him when he smokes you up. Just, ya know, don't be awkward and act like you're trying to repay a debt.
When you do get some cash, you can smoke him up with some dank and maybe get him a piece.

Good post, my friends and I are the same. We don't keep up with that shit, and it probs works out pretty evenly anyway. And the best part is nobody ever has to go without weed, even if they're broke or whatever. %)

No one likes that person who always smokes yours, but will never smoke you up, but we also understand some people never buy a bag or whatever blah blah, some people just don't blaze on the regs.
Make him a couple of DVDs with some good films or some shit...

So to the OP, have you taken any of are suggestions into consideration and returned the favor yet?
everytime u guys are about to sesh, offer to throw down cash, like $5 on the sesh or somethin, even though u know he wont take it. trust me, this makes a big impact on people, he'll feel u arent just a mooch (not sayin u are by the way) and he'll be more inclined to smoke u out. then when u get bud, return the favor

Don't ever tell him you'll pay him back when you can;t, that pisses people off, just explain how incredibly grateful you are for his offerings of stonery, go on about it, compliment his generosity, but if your flat out broke and unable to return the favor then just be real and show him verbally and respectfully that he's doing you an unbeatable favor!

If he's anything like me, I doubt he really minds that much. It's not like one extra person smoking with me is going to significantly reduce how blazed I get.
I regularly smoke up a buddy of mine who recently has not had any money or weed due to him quitting work to focus more on his studies (we're all Uni students). Sure I gripe about it occasionally, but I honestly don't mind that much because I view him as buddy and that's just what friends do. I'd be pretty stoked if he surprised me with food midway through a smoke sesh though.
