How do I remove the green coating of an old OC80?

I was walking down the street today, and I was met by a friend that gave me an old Purdue Pharma green OC80, or to be precise, 5 OC80s.
As I came back home, I realised that in order to IV, it is necessary to remove the nasty green coating that it has, but I have no idea how. I Used The Fucking Search Engine and didn't find anything, so I came here for help. Do any of you wise gentlemen know how to remove the coating of an OxyContin?

You could dampen a paper towel and rub it off, over the sink with the drain closed since they can get slippery. I lost a few down the sink back in the day. It's easier to just put it in your mouth to get the coating off but since you're going to inject them not such a great idea with germs and all.

Just dampen a paper towel & slowly wipe off, try not yo get the pill too wet tho.......

Will take a few minutes, buts its easy........& what s nice surprise for you to come into those.

If they're the kind I think they are - the only genuine older kind Ive everseen - it's very easy. I always just scraped it off with my thumbnail. It scratches right off easily and quicky. You can also wet it and rub it in a towel as mentioned above, but IMO it's so easy to just scratch it off that you may as well just do it that way. You also don't lose any of the active drug that way (the white part underneath) even though you probably aren't going to lose any significant amount by wetting it.

That's exactly what I used to do but if my nails were too low, I'd use a razor edge with a severe angle and that stuff comes right off. My experience was no real loss of med at all. I used to do that same thing with the old Opanas, BTW.

Your fingernails are one of the dirtiest places on your body, using them to scratch off the coating of something your going to then IV is a bad idea, even if you may get away with it.

On another note be careful as almost all of these "original OC's", especially the ones floating around on the darknet, are actually fakes pressed with fentanyl. You'll be hard pressed to find someone who actually stockpiled large amounts of the original OC's years back.

I suggest the OP snorts some to see if its the real deal, or gets a testing kit.

nah man they dont, alot of people were havn a hard time fillin 80 scripts when the change happened, this is a multi billion dollar a quarter revenue stream that can plan a couple days ahead id guess haha would be cool, but its like sandoz lsd imo

Even if that is the case, which I don't see why they wouldn't dispose of medications they can no longer sell, you can't expect your local dealer to have access to purdue pharmaceuticals supply. I'd imagine a controlled narcotic with such a high demand and profile of abuse would be kept under a very close eye. I don't doubt that very small amounts are still out there but it's obvious most of these current one's going around are the counterfeit fent OC's, I'd avoid them altogether. I personally would never use the darknet but from what I hear they're all over the place over there too.

wouldnt it be fairly simple to extract the oc, if they did have a lot? i dont see them just throwing stuff away, the cost of production must be somewhat significant between the harvesting of opium and separation of alkaloids for seperate synths. since i imagine oxy/hydromorphone are pretty interchangeable with their labs and access to chemicals. plus the patent didnt just suddenly expire overnight, they had a new one ready (OP) that same year

As much as we'd all love for that to be the case, somehow I doubt it.. There's strict quotas of how much bulk/retail oxycodone is produced every year, and I think when they took OC off the market for OP they finished the supply of the old ones (that's how OxyIR shortages are possible, they don't make much in advance, it's not possible).

Some places in the world still get OCs but I think they're locally produced. Whosajigga is non-US and he gets em.

a few trickled up north here, but its been a long time since ive seen a 80 that had any oxy in it. those fent pills are shitty, and even less fun than oxy haha. not that oxys boring but im more a hydromorpone fan.
