How do I give bong advice?

Say I ask someone to get me a really nice bong cause I deserve a gift, wtf do I tell someone who doesn't smoke pot what a really nice bong is? How do I go about describing a really nice bong? Should I just say, "tell the head shop guy, large, glass on glass, ashcatcher and defuser"?

or have a pot-smoking friend accompany them to the headshop so the gift is still a surprise.


if those are both out of the question, try to find a picture/description of the one you want and call your local headshops to find out if they have said bong available. then just tell her which shop to go to with this all-knowing look (it's nice to nod your head with the all-knowing look) to reassure her that they will have the one you want in stock.

hmmm. I would think this is like a woman asking another to buy them a handbag. can't and shouldn't be done because it's so personal. unless they're a seasoned smoker like yourself...

only time someone's bought me a bong it was a skull bong for my 21st. it was crap really, because the mouthpiece was too close to the cone (always singed hair lighting it).

i bought a little one hitter for a friend for his friends Christmas present because he is to young to not be kicked out of the local head shop.....

i was told to get something small an inexpensive.... a one hitter seemed the best option, ended up finding a piece that i was almost reluctant to give my friend.... the outer glass was clear but the inside was swirling green and yellow with bits of red. Very trippy looking. His friend loved it though....

I went and picked something that i would have bought for myself had i been looking for a pipe....

Its hard for a non smoker to know what to get unless your telling them specific brands with specific instructions as to which one to buy....

How much do they owe you, because a good bong is going to run you $100+. That is quite a burden you are putting on your friend, unless they really owe you big. Roors are even more.

that would be very tough task for a nonsmoker to do... i think you would have to show them pics of something similar to what you would like and some other details you want covered. then they can try their best to pic one out at the head shop. i always like picking out my own pieces, the one that fits you always pops out. you can go through 100s of pieces but there is always that one that just fits you just right.
