How dangerous is a hot tub?

Me and my girlfriend are renting a little hotel room with a big jacuzzi in it tomorrow night, and are planning to candyflip there. We'll be taking 1 1/2 hits of really good blotter and 2 potent tabs each, and were wondering if it's a really bad idea to hang out in the hot tub and just sort of relax and smoke and watch a movie? We'd be in there for quite a bit, so is there a certain temperature we shouldn't raise it above, or do you think it's just a bad idea all around? We won't be doing anything too physical, saving sex for the comedown since it's always pretty tough for me to get it up while rolling, and we'll be drinking water when we're thirsty, no alcohol.

I've read several accounts of people being in hot tubs while rolling and being totally fine, as well as heard some from my friends, but have always heard that serious warning tossed around about overheating. What do you guys think? Are we asking for trouble, or should it be a non-issue?
 
I would imagine that as long as you arent feeling too warm and you are drinking water regularly you will be fine, but I cant imagine it being very comfortable, I would think you'd get uncomfortably warm very quickly... a pool might be a better option. Anyway, I've never tried it and dont know anyone who has so dont take my word for it, those are just my thoughts, someone else might be able to chime in with more first hand experience :)
 
i was thinkin that we'll prolly start at a lower temp and adjust as needed. not going for full blown hot tub temps here, more along the lines of a warm bath, ya know?

are there any complications with body heat when taking acid and e at the same time, though, as far as you guys know? i really have no idea and searching didn't turn much up, so i figured i might as well ask. thanks for the replies!
 
Is it going to be either of your first time? If you havent had any problems in the past you should be ok, if it is a first time for one of you, you may want to just wait and see how it hits you first and then decide if you are up for the hottub
 
I haven't used a hot tub but a short, luke-warm shower is WONDERFUL, like others have said, don't go in too long :)
 
What's wonderful is sitting in the hottub while rolling for a little while and then jumping out into the pool. The shock from warm to cold has always made me peak hard. I'm not sure about the safety of it, but I remember it was a lot of fun =)
 
I'd say its probably not smart to stay in hot or even warm water for the duration of a movie, but 15-20 minutes or so shouldn't be too bad.

I've often been tempted to do this with my partner. We decided not to go for it because of the potential dangers. overheating, slipping and possibly drowning, etc.
 
i did it with my gf at the time after ultra...was kinda funny, we were staying in this high class hotel a block up the road and were in there with these older ladies that thought we were just so friendly...stayed in for about 30 min with no ill effects then hit the clubs up
 
hmm i don't think adjusting the temperature would help. i've heard of people being totally fine but they don't stay in very long. i know a girl and her first time rolling she was in the hot tub for hours and had a seizure. overall i think you'll be good if you're just in there for a while but watching a movie while in sounds too long to me
 
i have had sex in motel hot tubs so i am not preaching but you gotta consider all the body fluids that have been pumped into these things.
Owners and operators of these things had better use plenty bleach when doing janitorial maintainance !

watch out for cooties of every description -- eeew!
 
^ Hobhead just ruined my life, seriously dude why did ya have to say that. =/ not enough bleach in the god damn world.
 
a thousand pardons Newbierock ! When a girlfriend surprised me by paying for a hot tub room in a joint, i made nice but the thoughts of sitting in a jiz stew were never far from the surface .

caught nothing but the joint was low class and there were Pro Hoes coming and going .
