Opioids How common are fentalogues in the fentanyl supply?

When I did fentanyl I used to have a supplier that sold really good fentanyl but every batch has a different feel to it. They were all good but some are more euphoric than others and have a different feel to them. I’m wondering how common fentanyl analogs are in the supply. It isn’t tranq. They all have the classic opioid feel. It isn’t that garbage xylazine stuff. It always comes in big white chunks like it comes off a brick or something. It leaves a golden/amber trail as it runs which then leaves almost no trail at all. Also I’ve had plenty of fentanyl in the past and usually it’s just like a subpar high where I hit it then fall asleep or nod out with little to no euphoria but this stuff actually has a euphoric high.Any ideas?

Please don’t lecture about it.

They are pretty common. It's easier to ship most of the analogs because they're stronger by weight. As a supplier/distributor it's less risk to ship a more powerful substance. Less weight = smaller package = more individual doses with each shipment and easier to hide.

You take a gamble with every purchase of street level heroin these days because it could have anything in it. You never know if you'll hit a hot spot. The stuff isn't being mixed with cutting agents by people that are being careful and using scales. Most of the time it's being done by someone on a table using playing cards to mix a tiny amount of active material with inert cut. They mixy wixy on the table then once they're satisfied they package for the end user in individual bags/stamps or pressed into pills designed to look like popular pharma drugs (usually oxycodone).

They don't care about anyone ODing on it since it's good advertisement. If someone ODs on a new batch everyone else will hear it's strong and come running to purchase it. Most of them are not concerned about killing someone beyond the possible legal repercussions (murder charge) because most of them don't like their customers in the first place. Most of the time the person selling it isn't involved with mixing it anyway and has no idea what is in any particular batch. By the time it gets to them it is already packaged for individual sale.

They don't really care about it being fent. or anything else. Any random opioid RC will do and they'll always go for the cheapest possible by weight. Lots of batches might have all manner of things thrown in (even non-opioid and OTC drugs) in an attempt to provide a better nod/high. This has been going on for a long time even back when there was still real heroin in it. They'll toss in anything that provides sedation and a histamine reaction.

Depends on the precursor(s) thats most available to the chemists and the profit they make from the analogs. But like the previous poster id say theyre common

This is only up to date as of 2024 but if you look through this it seems like regular Fentanyl and 4-FluoroFentanyl were the two most common ones (although most of the samples were sent from Boston so maybe theyre more common just there) and if you scroll down a bit some samples had AcetylFentanyl or Nitazenes in them.
Most of the samples were also contaminated with precursors or degradation products.

But I would expect as of 2026 its likely regular fent, a higher potency analog or Nitazenes, not sure if there is a current testing site posting their analysis that would be interesting to see
