Legalizing MJ for medicinal use beyond cancer? I have fibromyalgia and other chronic pain issues and it works GREAT along with my medication I am scripted. Id rather smoke some bud than be hooked on opiates. So how many of you live in VA and are following this? What do you think?

I dont think close at all. The state is debating the morality of controlling the sale of alcohol right now, so I'm not sure. I saw a headline that read "VA accepts use of medicinal marijuana" the other day but it was Veterans Affairs hospitals lol.

Well if a Moderator feels the need to move it then they will do so... I posted it here because it is a forum called CANNABIS DISCUSSION So mods feel free to move this where it belongs..

Morality and alcohol? Perhaps it's because this is the bible belt as well.. I am hoping within a year or so... I am getting mixed reviews from my research which is why I made the post..

i live in VA and just went off of opiate maintenace so that i could smoke. i find that herb helps as much without the problems that go with pain meds. i think that its a long way off. imo VA will be one of the last states to pass it. we are generaly stricter on laws and punishment for laws here in the comonwealth.

I am on opiate management for pain.. my dr only does theraputic drug testing so no testing for weed. I guess I am pretty lucky in that aspect. Though I wish my dr could script me weed.
