Sorry I am not very good with computers. I know what the molecule looks like and know it is used to low cholesterol. I have drawn it on chem sketch and tried to look for it on chem look up structure services. I can't even upload the molecule to here so am sure I am doing something wrong.

Please help

I Think that might be what your looking for. The merck index
could also work, but pubchem is the best, a complete library
of chemical compounds, with structure as well as other info
relating to spectrographic info etc... A Very valuable resource.

But then again, you seem to be saying you know the molecular
structure of the compound, but not it's name? In that case, you
need to upload the molecules image, so someone here can identify.

Thanks!

Sorry I don't know how to do that, I have uploaded stuff here before, but it has changed since then. I have the image on a word doc that I drew on chem sketch

^^that doesn't help. Why don't you upload your pic to an image hosting site and post the url here?

Does your Chem drawing program allow you to give IUPAC names to structures you have drawn?
