I think what the first poster said about a lot of drug users acting shady.
A lot of drug addicts are indistinguishable from the general populace though.
I don't hide my drug use, persay, most of my family and friends know I've got a sweet tooth for the morphine alkaloids, and a deep appreciation of the herbage. That being said I don't bring it up unless brought up.
Needles most definitely complicate the matter unless you're "That fucking good" at it. Meaning it's second nature and your arms aren't all scarred up and shit.
As a quasi-drug addict myself (I do drugs more for therapeutic purposes, pain relief and the like, while idiots try to get "high" which I haven't been in forever it seems) I have dealt with many drug addicts in the past and therefore, I myself am often wary of drug addicts, or at least ner-do well types that don't have good income to support their habit.
I never let addicts in my home unless I know where their moms stays..rule of thumb.
