Opioids How bad should I expect my withdrawals to be?

Opioid withdrawals are really bad. Unless you have something to ease them with. Such as Methadone or Subutex.

Okay that is kind of the important part to me lol I've managed to (mostly) avoid w/ds for over decade and a half through wit and what not ---- to think of paying to be thrown into "Super w/d's" -- you see how it is not appealing option.

Shoot I feel like if I spoke with the doctor I could get half as many CC's as a normal person maybe---- not what most ppl ask for I imagine lol
Lol yes, avoiding w/ds is important to me too. That's why I'm clinging to every bit of info my doctor gives me 😆 Are u in UK? I'm in Australia. I feel like doctors are excited to be putting people on Buvidal. Which made me mistrust it a bit lol.

Most people are definitely not asking for just a lil dose haha. It seems there are however a lot of folks who do want to be comfortable, no w/ds or cravings and have somehow been treated like the less I want, the better I am as a person. I hate that. Nothing wrong with avoiding w/ds or seeking comfort. Heck, stepping on to Buvidal is a huge decision.

nah im stateside --- soon they gunna be rounding us up and putting us in camps prolly lol.

I am comfortable where I am and it took me damn near a yr to get from 4 mg to 2mg so any backtrack would be notable --- no better of a person for wanting less - just need less lol.

A week I could do, a month seems a bit much to trust

Definitely agree with you that a month is a lot of time to trust something for. It's frustrating that they don't offer microdoses of it for lose dose SL folks such as yourself. I totally understand not wanting to escalate your dose when you don't need to. They really should think about that!

I'm starting my SL in 24 hours. I think it's at 4mg for 7 days, then an option to go long acting Buvidal weekly. So I'm kinda at the start of my bupe induction....

Glad you're comfortable 🙂 Was it very difficult to get your use down from 4mg?

Unrelated. Just wanna say, its interesting to read through some of these threads and get a look into someones life for a moment. I visualize it like a book.

Now I saw that you got on buvidal, probably for the better a little while since you cant do more H. My only suggestions is I would tell you to try NA meetings or treatment, NA meetings for me personally worked better than any therapist or rehab
