scam artist "landlord" stole my deposit and first month rent and rented out my room out from under me

so now im homeless...once again

I dont have practical advice as Im not even near where you live, am sorry, but cunning, anger at injustice will fight you through, as it did me years ago...at least it gets you through the bad times, it fills in the holes ;) Really hope you get somewhere man. Let us know <3

Don't let the bastard away with it! Take him to small claims court if you can't get the cash out of him yourself. They have to give you atleast 2 weeks notice if they are going to rent out your place to someone else or kick you out (atleast that's the way it is here but it varies province by province) and they sure as fuck can't take your deposit and first months rent like that. That is basically theft. I would stay there for 2 weeks because i mean what the fuck can he do? Even if he cuts off your power it's still better then being homeless. Even threatening him with court might be enough you never know as he won't want to get a bad reputation. Then again if he is already a slum landlord it won't matter. Send him a letter and/or email of which you make sure you have a copy of yourself to keep stating that you will be taking him to small claims court if he doesn't give you the first and last months rent back. Which part of Canada are you in anyway if you don't mind me asking? Some provinces are far more friendly to tenants then others.

The landlords here in Newfoundland are royal cunts right enough. I know more then a few people who had nothing but problems with them and you damn near have to turn them upside down and shake out their pockets to get them to fix anything :X . My buddy got his landlord back by throwing one last big party after he got the last months rent off him and we fucking demolished that place :D . We even beat most of the gyp rock out of the walls lol. I really hate those overcharging rack renting bastards and they truly are the lowest form of life on this planet not to mention the most utterly useless class of people. As for me my 1 word is tired :| . My sleep has been absolute shit lately but i'm hoping i'll get a good nights sleep tonight.
 
@ AD LIB.. i'm a very nice person.. nice> treat others as I like to be treated.. nice and direct> yeah If someone is treating me like shit I call that person out and their scumbag behavior out immediately in front of who ever the hell is around;):!.. nice and stubborn> dont stand for that treatment ever..

I think I'll be doing that very soon... So on that note, I am bitchy... Can't wait for the week to be over too.
 
Ughh I've been having major anxiety for the past two days...

Its feels like my <3 going to burst out of my chest.

And when I get home around 2 in the morning or later from work, I feel so panicky at night time my <3 starts racing so fast again.

It feels as though I'm going to have a heart attack at night and die (even though I know I won't). So It takes me a while to go to sleep.

I've never had a panic attack lasting this long.
